When preparing the competition schedule, you may wish to adjust the number of rounds the athletes attempt in both the qualification and final stages for applicable field events, such as the long jump, triple jump, and all the throwing events. You are able to configure a model for the number of attempts to optimise usage in the Roster Athletics Meet Mgmt app when entering results for these events. You can learn more about selecting models in the Set schedule user guide.
Available models:

- Four rounds to all: 4 attempts for all athletes.
- Qualification: a maximum of 3 attempts; the athlete stops after reaching the qualifying mark (if Q is set).
- Six rounds to all: 6 attempts for all athletes.

Below, you’ll find more details.

Please note that models marked with an asterisk are available in the app version 2.0.0 or later.
Upon reordering, the athletes are sorted from worst to best.
If no model is selected, the app will default to:
- Qualification for a qualification stage,
- Combined event for combined events,
- Standard final for a final stage.
Please note that model selection does not affect results entered through the web admin portal and only applies when using the Meet Mgmt app. Also, note that you can always edit and add attempts in the web admin portal.
