If the competitions you organize/organise are similar, you can create a new competition by copying an existing one. To do this, go to the competition you want to copy, open the Details page and click the Use as template button.
In the new window, add the Competition name, set the Start date (local) and Start time (local) and decide if you want to Transfer start list and Transfer access permissions.
Copying the competition may take several minutes. You will be emailed when the competition is ready.
Using a template will copy:
- competition details (including location, country-specific options, timing system integration settings),
- list of events,
- schedule (with adjusted dates and times),
- event visibility setting,
- initial records,
- start lists (optional),
- BIB allocation (when transferring start lists is enabled and if BIBS have been previously allocated),
- list of users with permission to read or edit the competition (optional).
Using a template will NOT copy:
- any settings related to registration,
- seeding settings,
- check-in statuses,
- results,
- feed comments.
Copied competitions will have Draft status and will not be visible in the app and website by default.
